This past week was a terrible training week. I was sore from my previous workout so I took an extra day off. I spent a lot of time with my mom on the other nights so it was hard to make up that time. Instead of 5 hours of training, I got in 30 minutes. I hope that doesn't come back to haunt me.
I am now entering my Race week. I need 5 hours again. I plan on removing today's RR day and instead doing a workout I should have done last week. Tuesday will be another hard workout, but after that, much of the week is RR until Friday. I plan on leaving for the race that day and pre-riding the trail.
I also start my Race Day loading. I really think this stuff works, just wish it were easier to mix or came in a flavor of some sort. I mix it with Propel just to help.
