Don't normally gripe on my blog, but I have to tell you that I heard the stupidest comment from Sprint (cell phone). I wanted a new phone, which they are offering to new customers for $249, which is $150 off with new 2 year contract. Being an existing customer, thus they don't really care, they would not offer the phone to me at that price. At least not until July when my contract expires. However, Sprint will waive my $150 contract cancellation fee since I've had so many issues with dropped calls in the past. They agreed to waive this last year after several service issues, but it was noted on my account.
So, let's think about this. Sprint will not give me $150 off a phone, which would lock me into another 2 year contract, thus keeping me for another 2 years, however they will let me cancel my contract and no longer be their customer. The customer service person did not understand when I asked them to apply that $150 cancellation fee to the cost of the phone. I just told them I wanted to cancel my contract, at which point they tried to sell me on another 2 year contract, yet still not offering me the discount on the phone. I just laughed and hung up.
Just think about it again, next race, when you really need to dig deep on that final lap! I hate cel phone!
