Despite the insane heat, I managed a personal best on Saturday. 1:53:15. Almost 9 minutes faster than last year. Technically in 2009 I had 1:15:13, however that was with a wetsuit during the swim. No wetsuit this past weekend, which is consistent with last year.
My swim was close to 90 seconds faster, my bike was 1mph average faster and my run insanely faster. I also cruised through transition, having the 22nd and 23rd fastest times out of 380 people.
