Cost of Being Banned

Students are taking a test so I'm a little bored.  Thought I'd look at how much it has cost the MMBA to ban me.  Just for shit's and giggles.  :)

Races Skipped:  (I'll assume $35 per race since I usually register day off. )

Hanson Hills
Boyne Marathon
Stoney Creek TT
Maybury
Addison
Pando

Total Cost = $210

Membership = $35

Total cost: $245 per year

Not included:  The few racers who have opted to drop CPS and focus on Tailwind as a result of the MMBA integrity issues.  I also know two other people who did not renew their membership as well.  Again, because of MMBA integrity issues.

I know the MMBA doesn't care about the lost money, but some of these races were trail benefit races, so the money was put too good use.  Regardless, I still find it hard to support an organization like the MMBA given the integrity issues.  I have told a few new mountain bikers not to join the MMBA at this point, but instead do some trail benefit races.  Definitely don't use the forums.  :)
