New Wheels

Mavic Crossmax SLR 2011.  Why replace my ZTR?  First, I hate my white wheels.  Second, these are 30 grams lighter.  Third, they look better.  And the real reason, they were marked down from $1000 to $599 plus 15% off.  I sold my ZTR for $300 so it's a minimal upgrade cost.  There was an issue with Competitive Cyclist, however they really resolved the issue above and beyond my expectations.  The initial wheel order was for 2010, however through an error on their part, they offered me 2011.

    No really impressed with ZTR wheels. Light and stiff, but the cosmetic side of things leaves a lot to be desired. Stickers fell off the first week and a few months later the paint started chipping. Blah.
