Monday and the 300 workout

I was introduced to the '300' workout today.  This workout is based on the movie 300, which personally I thought was boring.  The workout is not.  This workout was used to get the actors in shape for the movie.  Here is a video explaining the workout:





This video is based on the ADVANCED level workout.  Men's Health broke this down into 4 levels, with level 1 being the easiest and level 4 the hardest (video).  The levels are as follows:

Level 1: 10 reps of everything, except pull-ups.  You start and finish with 5 pull-ups.
Level 2: 20 reps of everything, except pull-ups.  You start and finish with 10 pull-ups.
Level 3: 30 reps of everything, except pull-ups.  You start and finish with 15 pull-ups.
Level 4: Video

Level 1-3 is done 2x in a row with however long you want for recovery between.  I did level 1 today.  The only challenge was the pull-ups.  I did all of them, but it sure took a lot out of me.  I read in the article that the best time by one of the actors for level 4 was 18 minutes.  WOW!
