Even after an intense workout Tuesday, 90 minutes of Scuba diving at night, I still had the energy to do another intense workout.
I ended up doing the shifting intervals on a trainer. This workout always kicks my butt. The two shifts really hit your leg muscles good. I felt myself riding the edge of cramps, which is good.
I can definitely see the benefit of doing a power workout a few days before a muscular endurance workout. It really forces your leg muscles to adapt to a longer ride. Next workout is anaerobic workouts.
